Amy is best known for giving out free hugs and “making you do weird things” in class. Her intention is to blend Yoga's sacred philosophy with modern day movements so you can function in everyday life. Yoga has been in and out of Amy’s life since the early 2000’s but did not make a true impact until 2013. The universe ushered Yoga philosophy to her when she would need it the most. She tragically lost her younger brother to suicide, developed a chronic illness, and was left with severe anxiety and depression. Yoga helped her transform through darkness, if you ask she will tell you her brother gave her a new lease on life.
Amy is down to earth & silly but she takes her Yoga craft seriously. Her teaching style is lighthearted but heart filled-you’ll find her laughing at herself often. She teaches multiple styles of Yoga but her specialties are Yin and Pranayama (yogic breath practice). Her classes are infused with the elements of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to help build a stronger connection between nature & humans. We are interconnected!
When not teaching, you’ll find her running, hiking, reading, baking cookies, tending her plants, and spending quality time with her husband.
Energy Seed Yoga was created with the intention to heal, grow, learn, and lift others along the way.
