Hi, I’m Amy. I’m a yoga teacher, meditation guide, and sound practitioner. I hold space for people to slow down, breathe deeper, and just be human. My offerings are a mix of movement, stillness, sound, and story. They’re built to meet you where you are, and to remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
I started practicing yoga in the early 2000s, but it became something much deeper in 2015 when I lost my younger brother to suicide and was navigating chronic health challenges. Everything felt heavy and uncertain. Yoga gave me something steady to come back to. It still does.
Now I specialize in Yin Yoga, Pranayama, and Sound Healing. My work is rooted in presence and inspired by nature, using the Five Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine to guide students through seasonal shifts and inner transitions.
My style is slow and intentional. A little mystical. Guaranteed silliness. Always authentic.
Outside of teaching, I’m an advocate for women’s rights and mental health awareness. I love running, hiking, reading, baking cinnamon rolls, and hanging out with my husband and our two rescue pups, Flour and Cheddar.
I created Energy Seed Yoga to be a place for healing, clarity, and community. A place where you can come back to your body, your breath, and your self.

As a kid, I was always moving- track and cross country, gymnastics, dance, and competitive cheerleading. This early love for physical activity sparked my fascination with the human body and what motivates our movement. I pursued a degree in Sports and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education. Along the way I became a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Teaching has always been a natural fit for me.
